    Made this again and it was (almost) a complete success! The orange blossom water was a tad floral for our palates, so I would use half the amount next time. The rice was also a little crunchy - needed a little extra cooking time, or else I would use regular basmati rice next time with the same cook time. Overall, it complimented a vegan Middle Eastern spread well.

    This was completely inedible but it was my fault. The flavors were coming together great, but I used the wrong orange blossom water. I used basically an alcohol-based tincture instead of plain orange blossom water. After talking to my dad (who is Iraqi), I realized I used the wrong thing. Saving the recipe to try again because it would have been great with the correct orange water.
