Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity.

    Standard pancake recipe that I have used for years. I use this variation when I don’t have buttermilk on hand. I’ve also done as Eliza suggests in her note and cut the recipe in half while just using a whole egg.

    This is my go to pancake recipe. I usually make a 1/2 batch with one egg. Can be adapted to whole grain flour or with additions such as blueberries.
