Where’s the full recipe - why can I only see the ingredients?

Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity.

    The procedure was an absolute faff, used a bunch of extraneous pans. For what is essentially a peasant stew, you can just use the dutch oven it calls for anyway. The final result was good. Rich and hearty, this is a great winter dinner. Probably a weekend meal, because it takes about 4 hours to make.
