Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity.

    Followed recipe as written. Muffins came out perfectly. Strudel makes a little more than needed, otherwise 12 nice size muffins result. Baked for full 27 minutes. Rested for 20 minutes in muffin tin and easily removed. Nice way to use up that last 1/2 cup of buttermilk. These freeze very well.
