    I made 1/2 recipe using quick grits, 1 egg, and 2 Tbsp butter. The grits still seemed a little runny after baking (maybe a 2nd egg would help), but set up fine as they cooled. Grits can be rather bland, but these were fairly flavorful and made a nice side with Southern baked chicken. Even my grits-hating son had seconds.
