    Boiling canned chickpeas for 20 minutes makes the skins easy to remove. It is very creamy. The meat topping comes together quickly, while the chickpeas are boiling. For our preference, I omitted cinnamon & cloves, increased coriander & added some allspice. I also reduced the smoked paprika a bit and added some plain paprika to compensate. It was quick and satisfying... I added some pomegranate molasses when serving and would do so in future.
