    Made the stock using ham bone and did not use chicken stock. Since tomatoes are in season in my garden, used tomatoes quickly sauteed in place of puree. One addition was some orange peel but everything else made as listed. First time cooking or eating farro - very nice. It's really hard to go wrong with this type of soups as they seem to always come out very good and satisfying. Makes all store bought or restaurannt soups seem pretty dismal.
