Spinach chicken (Saag murg) from Chetna's 30 Minute Indian: Quick and Easy Everyday Meals (page 70) by Chetna Makan

Where’s the full recipe - why can I only see the ingredients?

Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity.

We enjoyed this very much with the tamarind and sesame seed rice, as recommended. I used 12 oz spinach, so increased the water to 150 ml, and had to turn the stove on for a few minutes to wilt the spinach.

2nd time with frozen spinach. Still excellent. Upped spices by 25-50% and added a fresh serrano pepper.

Delicious. Pureeing with hand blender may not be strictly necessary if the tomatoes and onions are finely diced. Next time try frozen spinach or chopping spinach before wilting. Compare to Best Every Curry page 46 Chicken Saag.

    Ingredient list is missing spinach
