    This recipe amps your rice up with layers of flavor and is delicious as a side dish with salmon or fish and chicken. Be careful what kind of rice you use though. The first time I made it I used basmati rice and it was just a bit clumpy when it was finished cooking. The second time I used jasmine rice and ended up with a delicious rice porridge that everyone loved. Next time I am going to try some old-fashioned long grain white rice that should stand up better to the cooking technique and cooking time.
