    Recipe turned out really well! Definitely could use a bit more texture as the cornbread and chili combo leaves everything a bit soft. Flavors were great. We added hot sauce to individual servings.

    Great recipe, delicious even without the cheese.

    Good, easy version of tamale pie, quick enough for a weeknight. I added a diced zucchini with the peppers. The cornbread batter was thin enough to easily drizzle over the top and baked into just the right thickness relative to filling.
