Can substitute pappardelle pasta for lasagne pasta, and frozen peas or fresh broad beans for fresh peas.

Where’s the full recipe - why can I only see the ingredients?

Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity.

Made this last night and it was such a cozy, comforting meal, really loved it and already want to make it again. A few substitutions based on what I had to hand, it was a very forgiving recipe that way: used cured, pancetta-style bacon lardons instead of cooked ham, and some powdered bouillon instead of stock (less than needed, it was the end of the jar, could have used more). Amounts were again based on what I had. Used 200g of fresh peas and about 4-5 slices of lasagna from the end of a box. Loved the surplus of peas and would do that again for sure. I also added fresh-grated Parmigiano. Didn't have fresh basil, which I'm sure will add to it next time I make it. My peas didn't need as much cooking time as he called for so I'll adjust that next time. Crisped up the leftovers in the oven with a topping of mozzarella, also excellent.
