Popovers from The New Family Cookbook: All-New Edition of the Best-Selling Classic with 1,000 New Recipes (page 565) by America's Test Kitchen Editors

Where’s the full recipe - why can I only see the ingredients?

Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity.

Notes about this recipe

These were superb. Lacking a real popover pan, I used a large muffin pan which yielded 8 instead of 6. None of us had ever eaten popovers before, and they were so good (like brioche rolls with an extra crunchy exterior). A new favorite, and so simple to make. I can see why 1960s cookbooks always seem to include them in the dinner menus.
