Can substitute sweet sherry for mirin, tamari for soy sauce, and peanuts for cashew nuts.

Where’s the full recipe - why can I only see the ingredients?

Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity.

This is a solid recipe with room for variation— instead of green beans, I used broccoli, and steamed the florets in the microwave before adding to the pan with the sauce. I did find that a lesser amount of pork will yield 3 servings, so use a full pound of tenderloin if you are feeding 4. If you like heat, and I do, finish with some chili crisp at the table. I served this with rice and finished with chopped scallion. Family approved!
