    Can substitute low sodium chicken broth for low sodium vegetable broth, and green lentils for brown lentils.

    This was warm and gently spicy on a chilly night. I mistakenly added the coconut milk at the beginning of cooking the soup in the slow cooker, rather than at the end as the instructions said, but it turned out fine. ETA: After a few days in the fridge, these leftovers were DELICIOUS!!!
