Can substitute apple juice, apple cider, vegetable broth, or chicken broth for dry white wine; wild mushrooms for cremini mushrooms; vegetable broth for chicken broth; and cream or canned coconut milk for whole milk.

Where’s the full recipe - why can I only see the ingredients?

Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity.

Loved this! I added some dried thyme and sage to the meatball mixture for a more complex flavor. Used fresh herbs in the sauce. I also made the meatballs ahead of time and chilled in the fridge for a couple of hours to firm up. Note of caution: be sure and be generous when oiling the baking dish. Ground chicken has very little fat and my meatballs stuck to the pan a bit.
