    Confession: I did not make the frizzled shallots for this, but I did use garlic oil instead of plain oil. This was very good. I screwed up and forgot to add the honey, but once I did it was amazing. Honestly not sure where this one sits rating wise, in part because of my screw up. I am giving it a tentative 3.5

    This is my go-to salad for dinner parties. It’s super simple but delicious and everyone always loves it. The frizzled shallots really make it. I use the extra shallot oil to make the same dressing for other green salads too.
