    I have made several of Tieghan’s puff pastry appetizers and many are standbys in my house. I simplified this because I thought there were too many competing flavors. After subtracting a few I was left with lemon, garlic and basil. I followed the instructions, layering seasonings, cheese then artichokes but the photo shows a lot of herbs on top of the cheese. I will do that next time. I’m wondering if there is a more sharply flavored cheese to contrast with the mild artichoke?
