Tahini milk chocolate bars from Snackable Bakes: 100 Easy-Peasy Recipes for Exceptionally Scrumptious Sweets and Treats (page 127) by Jessie Sheehan

Where’s the full recipe - why can I only see the ingredients?

Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity.

This was quick and easy to put together. I have had the peanut butter version of these bars (“O’Henry bars”, described in the headnote), and I think the tahini version is a delicious, more sophisticated variation. I like that it’s a bit less sweet, more savory and with a hint of saltiness. (Also, because I was a bit short on milk chocolate chips, I had to use a mix of milk and semi-sweet. That works well, and I would even maybe go with dark chocolate chips next time around?)
