    I made this exactly as directed, because the parents presumably needed something at a kids’ event, and it was simple, delicious, flavorful, and disappeared. Served with store-bought pita chips. Adding a P.S. in February 2025: I made this for dinner and my husband loved it and asked me to make it more often. He’s the one who cooks all the meat-based dishes in our house, so it’s great to find a veg-based dinner that he loves. Served with whole wheat pita chips.
