    I'm in two minds about this recipe - I love aubergine, and I loved a lot of things about this, but it wasn't a soup so much as kind of a very sloppy rice dish, and also I think maybe it needed something more acidic/tangy to balance out the very intense smokiness of the burnt aubergine. I would add more lemon and maybe some feta. Possible the whole thing would benefit from more of a tomato base also.
