    I didn't think much of this recipe before making it and I was wrong! I subbed turnips for squash, and used taleggio for cheese as I had some to use up (which kind of defeated the "light" recipe but well :)... Anyway this was great, kind of like a chicken hachis parmentier, with a crisp sweeter flavour from the apples and this creamy potato on the top and indulgent melted cheese. I halved the recipe and had about four little ramequins (so I probably made smaller portion than intended) which I served with a side salad for a light lunch.
