Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity.

    In the description, Mollie Katzen wrote: "Lemon snaps are hard to stop eating, especially when they're about one hour old." These cookies are truly addictive. As she suggests, I increase the lemon rind (zest) to ¾ teaspoon for more lemon flavor.
