    These have a nice chocolate flavor, and are not too sweet. Despite setting the timer for 2 minutes less than specified, they were overcooked. Was busy with other things and missed checking early. Would check 5-10 minutes early next time. Other than being a bit dry due to my error I like the texture.

    I made half a batch and baked it in a 9X9 pan. They were pretty short, I probably should have used an 8X8 pan. The brownies had an eggy, custardy mouthfeel. In a slow search for the perfect, easy, cupboard-ingredient brownies.
