Wild rice pilaf from Clean Food: A Seasonal Guide to Eating Close to the Source with More Than 200 Recipes for a Healthy and Sustainable You by Terry Walters

Where’s the full recipe - why can I only see the ingredients?

Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity.

This is a tasty recipe, but I’m not convinced that a rice cooker is the right tool for cooking wild rice. Next time I make it, I’ll probably pressure cook the wild rice separately and then add basmati done in the rice cooker, to get the textures right for both.

very good recipe used a rice cooker. substituted dried cherries for the cranberries. In recent years I have made the same dish with a combination of wild and an organic mixture of whole grain rices. Excellent.
