Brownie cookies from Magnolia Table, Volume 3: A Collection of Recipes for Gathering (page 309) by Joanna Gaines

Where’s the full recipe - why can I only see the ingredients?

Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity.

Very Good! Was jonesing for an easy chocolate chewy cookies and this fit the bill. They do not puff up like her picture, but has a nice crackle top. Dough definitely needs chilling first as it’s a brownie batter consistency. I found it easier to chill the whole bowl instead of scooping out and then chilling. I must have used a bigger scoop because I only got 20 cookies. Not sure I’d want them any smaller either. I prefer them not undercooked so 15-16 minutes with my bigger cookies. Next time I will sprinkle with flaked salt after they get out of oven.

Amazing. Like brownie edges with the right amount of chew. Honestly kind of dangerous! Mine yielded 30 cookies instead of 35. I gave the sheet a few taps out of the oven to flatten them a bit.
