Can substitute Sriracha sauce for sambal oelek, lime juice for tamarind paste, and a mixture of dark soy sauce and coconut sugar or brown sugar for kecap manis.

Where’s the full recipe - why can I only see the ingredients?

Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity.

Made this sauce as part of the vermicelli noodle bowl recipe with tofu. This peanut sauce is so good. I used Teddy brand PB and would agree that it does require a good amount of water for it to become pourable. That being said I would definitely make again and again.

I love the taste of this mix. I did use dark soy/brown sugar instead of tamarind and a bit more than the half of a lime. and chili oil for spice. It's so good I could drink it. Needs alot of water to become pourable.
