    I made this recipe as written, except I left out the serrano pepper and added crispy fried sausage at the end. This was a very light version of a pureed potato soup, but we definitely prefer a richer, heartier style. Some cream and/or bacon would bring it more in line with what I wanted. If you want a lighter soup, this one is for you.
