      Solid recipe. Not quite salty enough, greatly improved with more salt. We also wish we let honey caramelize more. One taster thought the wings should be deep fried instead. Either soy sauce or MSG might have also been a good addition. Would maybe try again but with substantial modification. 3.5/5

      I made this recipe as written, except I left out the serrano pepper and added crispy fried sausage at the end. This was a very light version of a pureed potato soup, but we definitely prefer a richer, heartier style. Some cream and/or bacon would bring it more in line with what I wanted. If you want a lighter soup, this one is for you.

      The tahini Caesar is genius. No worrying about splitting your dressing or slowly drizzling in oil, plus it's absolutely delicious. This was super do-able as a fancier weekday work lunch, and that would be even more true if you nixed the breadcrumbs and just made the dressing.

      We enjoy the pickled celery approach from Jake's Jew-ish book in the little gem salad with radishes and tahini dressing. This tuna salad, using celery pickled with fennel instead of corriander, is flavorful and easy to put together.

      Quite good and easy to put together, but not as good. Next time we might try adding ground pork or chicken sausage. I had it with goat cheese, other taster did not and I have to say the goat cheese does a lot of heavy lifting. Nice, easy vegetal dinner. 3.5/5

      So good. Easy fall dinner. My only complaint is the number of dishes and parts of the oven used. It didn't take a lot of time, but that time was more hands-on than typical since things move fast.

      this was a big miss. clearly not enough water, and the rice and lentils took twice as long to cook (probably because it ran out of water and started burning to the pan). Also, zero chance onion caramelize even a bit in 6-8 minutes?? they’re barely softened! anyway the final product (once I added more water) was at best fine. weirdly bland. won’t be repeating

      The cake is delicious and the texture appealing--that perfect spot between cake, fudge, and brownie. We love sumac and were very interested in seeing how chocolate and sumac play together. We want to try the same recipe without the sumac to see exactly what it's doing because its effect wasn't as strong or straightforward as we thought it would be.

      Delicious. Big hit at Hanukkah party, particularly the glaze. Make sure to refrigerate dough long enough and roll out thick enough or else cookie shapes will fall apart.

      We made this with sprouted brown rice crisps instead of Kellogg’s and it was delightful! Next time we might grind the pistachio to more evenly distribute their flavor.
