Where’s the full recipe - why can I only see the ingredients?

Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity.

    I followed the directions precisely, and although it looked amazing coming out of the oven, it was inedibly salty. I had to throw it away. I grew up in Pennsylvania, so I know how a Shoofly pie should taste. This was NOT good. The ingredients calls for 1 teaspoon table salt in the filling. This has to be an error. I’ve searched numerous recipes and none of them include that much salt. I suppose if the salt was reduced or even eliminated this might be an okay pie. But it’s missing a flavor that I can’t put my finger on, so I won’t be repeating it.
