    I've made this recipe a couple of times and it is a winner every time! The dough is so soft and very flavorful from the sponge preferment. I made the optional Cinnamon Sugar Swirl filling and this time I realized that she recommends the brush the roll with egg wash as you roll it so the filling will adhear better. This is something that I missed the last time I made it and it worked very well. I had a really tight spiral that didn't separate during baking! This makes two loaves...we ate one fresh and then I put the 2nd loaf in the freezer to save for French toast. This is my go-to cinnamon raisin bread!
