French baguette from Canadian Living's Best: Breads and Pizzas: Over 100 Delicious Homemade Breads, Bagels, Baguettes, Flatbreads, Pizzas...and More (page 9) by Elizabeth Baird and Canadian Living

Where’s the full recipe - why can I only see the ingredients?

Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity.

Notes about this recipe

I usually make half the recipe to make 2 baguettes, and I sub in some whole grain flour such as emmer or einkorn. My mix is usually done in the bread machine, then shape and rise in baguette pan and bake in the oven. I reduce the milk powder by about half. I have also converted this to sourdough using 1/4 cup starter, overnight rise, then stretch and folds, shaping and baking as per the recipe. Very good baguettes and easy to make.
