EYB Comments
Can substitute thick-cut bacon for salted pork belly, dried beans of your choice for dried pinto beans, and maple syrup for honey. You may use the Tomato paste recipe on p. 39. Soak dried pinto beans for at least 8 hours or overnight.
Where’s the full recipe - why can I only see the ingredients?
Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity.
