Where’s the full recipe - why can I only see the ingredients?

Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity.

    Can substitute sweet potatoes for carrots, rutabagas for parsnips, and lamb stock for beef stock. See recipe for other meat suggestions. You may use the Tomato paste recipe on p. 39.

    Really good! Halved the recipe and it worked out well. On the sweet side - I might add in some Aleppo pepper next time. This one is getting added to the rotation.
