Where’s the full recipe - why can I only see the ingredients?

Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity.

    Needed a bit of doctoring, but it's a good starting point. I used bayo beans, cooked from dried, and a combination of New Mexican chile powder and canned chipotle instead of powdered chipotle. Also added butter, mirepoix paste, roasted garlic, and black pepper. I couldn't abide dirtying the food processor for refried beans, so I used a potato masher to mash them in the pan as they cooked.
