Pomona from Zaytinya: Delicious Mediterranean Dishes from Greece, Turkey, and Lebanon (page 335) by José Andrés

Where’s the full recipe - why can I only see the ingredients?

Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity.

Notes about this recipe

The starter cocktail for cookbook group dinner. Everyone loved it. it is bright and refreshing and pretty in the glass. The ouzo does not have an overwhelming anise flavor at all. It tasted terrific in November but would even be better on a hot day during the summer. Definitely a keeper recipe.

Refreshing, light, and (as promised in the book) appealing to even an anise-hater. Perfect summer drink.
