    We substituted Anaheim peppers for the Jalapeños because we had an abundance in our garden. They added a delicious smoky note to this incredible burger. The burger sauce was just right and the technique of grilling the onions and peppers in little piles was spot on. We grilled these on our Baking Steel Griddle on our outdoor grill and they were the most delicious Smash Burgers we have made so far. Perfect combination of crispy edges and juicy patties. This recipe will be on repeat throughout the rest of summer.
