Can substitute summer squash for zucchini, ricotta cheese for burrata cheese, and country bread or gluten-free bread for sourdough bread.

Where’s the full recipe - why can I only see the ingredients?

Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity.

Very good and easy. I had no burrata or ricotta, so we had it on its own over rice and it was delicious. Will definitely make again!

I hate to be the dissenting voice but this was the rare Smitten Kitchen miss for us -- bland and the flavors of the onions and zucchini seemed quite muddy with just a boil and no initial saute. Won't repeat.

Wow, this was ugly (and delicious)! I added four sliced baby peppers to the mix for a little color, but this turned out the ugliest shade of grey (especially the leftovers). I served with Parmesan cheese, a dollop of ricotta, and a sprinkle of chile flakes. Nice way to use up zucchini.

Thought this would be ok & a provident use of that abundant csa squash — It was DELICIOUS. I didn't have burrata, so I substituted a scoop of ricotta on top of each serving. Ate the leftovers without cheese and they were still delish.

This was so much better than the list of ingredients suggested. Really flavourful and so easy to make. I used home cooked chickpeas, which was great but isn't really necessary in a recipe like this where the chickpeas braise in the actual dish. Instead of burrata or ricotta I used feta, which also worked great. Will definitely repeat.

Very tasty and so easy to throw together. In our house this served 3.
