Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity.

    Can substitute rosemary or thyme for sage, passata for canned tomato polpa, brown miso for Marmite, almond milk for whole milk, and chestnut mushrooms for shiitake mushrooms.

    I made this with rosemary, chestnut mushrooms, passata and brown miso. It was nice - maybe adding a bit of thyme towards the end would give an alternative note? The main flavour was mushroom, but it was pretty straightforward and I'd make it again. I used the food processor to chop the veg and mushrooms - I'm not grating a mushroom!
