Can substitute jalapeño chiles for serrano chiles, baby lima beans for white lima beans, pineapple vinegar for limes, and basil and/or mint for all or part of cilantro. Recipe calls for cooked beans.

Where’s the full recipe - why can I only see the ingredients?

Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity.

Needs a bit more spice and acid for my palate. I would up the lime juice and tomatoes next time and use less corn. I served it as a cold salad ?
