    Can substitute instant dried yeast for fresh yeast, and dried fruits of your choice for mixed peel.

    This is a delicately spiced, enriched bread with bits of citrus peel and currants. The recipe makes two small loaves that are delicious sliced and toasted with thick lashings of butter. Mine took an extra five minutes to bake.
