    Fall in a cake. I made this for Rosh Hashanah and it was lovely!

    I'm not sure I've ever seen such mixed reviews on the SK site. Sadly, I'm with the disappointed. Made as directed except subbed 2 tsp of Penzeys pie spice for the mix of spices because I'm obsessed with it, and baked in a cakelet pan for 20 minutes, which is longer than I would have thought but it took that long to set. The flavor was decent but the texture was dense and gummy. Nothing like a cake or a donut. Doubt I will try again.
