Golden brioche loaves from Baking - From My Home to Yours (page 48) by Dorie Greenspan

Where’s the full recipe - why can I only see the ingredients?

Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity.

Notes about this recipe

The dough took longer to mix than stated (using a stand mixer), but turned out well. I only punched the dough down twice prior to refrigerating overnight. I used half the recipe for one loaf, the other half for raisin snails. The shaped loaf took extra long to rise, but baked up beautifully. It was super buttery and delicious.

This bread is so rich (three sticks of butter!!) it doesn’t need any accompaniment of butter or jam. Warm from the oven or toasted, it is as good as it comes.
