Honey lemon chicken wings with lentil feta salad from Bills Open Kitchen by Bill Granger

Where’s the full recipe - why can I only see the ingredients?

Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity.

Notes about this recipe

The chicken wings are both tart and sweet - a very successful combination. Would only use 3 T honey if making for someone who doesn't like sweet with protein. 1-3 teaspoons of sriracha sauce or sambal oelek (depending on how hot you want wings) would be a good addition to chicken glaze. Cover baking sheet with foil and oil lightly (or spray) to keep chicken wings from sticking. I didn't cut the ends off the chicken wings, but did separate the drumette. The salad is delicious. Triple the mint - I also added 3 cloves minced garlic and doubled the lemon juice and olive oil. Didn't have cucumber, so made with tomato - cucumber would've been better but tomato was good. Used shallot instead of red onion which was a wonderful substitute. Don't stint on the black pepper.
