    Chicken marinates 30 minutes or up to overnight. Can substitute jalapeños for bird's-eye chiles, paprika and ground cayenne pepper for Kashmiri chile powder, red onion for yellow onion, tomato sauce for crushed tomatoes, kale or Swiss chard for spinach, and white vinegar for lemon juice.
