    Can substitute red onion for yellow onion, ginger for garlic, ground cayenne pepper and paprika for Kashmiri chile powder, canned crushed tomatoes or Roma tomatoes for tomato paste, and beef broth for chicken broth.

    Easy, flavorful and comforting. I added pepper flakes and topped with yogurt. A great weeknight meal.
