    This relatively simple method calls for less sugar than many recipes, which I appreciated. I candied 2 lemon, 1 orange, and 2 tangerine rinds. Maybe I should have simmered the rinds slightly longer as the tangerines remained a little thick and tough to cut. My oven's lowest temp is 150 F and the rinds took 3 hours to dry. Slightly bitter when sampled plain, chopped pieces tasted good in hot cross buns.
