I loved this! I really liked the whipped cottage cheese and quick berry sauce, although I forgot to set my timer on the berry sauce and cooked it too long so it was more of a jam. I did make a couple of changes...based on anya_sf's review I added some sugar to the custard mix. I also added a little vanilla to the berry sauce, and I added a little bit more sugar to the whipped cottage cheese. Next time I want to add some lemon zest or lemon oil to the cottage cheese. I made a nice homemade loaf of challah especially to try this recipe and it did not disappoint! I will be making this again!

Really good. I didn't make the whipped cottage cheese but would try it in the future. The berry sauce was tart so we also had maple syrup. The French toast was less eggy than my go-to (Ina's), which I liked better. I might add a touch of sugar next time.
