This recipe appears in the book as a variation of "Malay-style rice noodles with shrimp in coconut curry soup." Can substitute basil for mint; any hot chili sauce for chili garlic sauce; red curry paste for yellow curry paste; ground cashews, peanuts, or pine nuts for macadamia nuts; light or dark brown sugar for palm sugar; and rice vermicelli noodles, linguine, or spaghetti pasta for rice noodles.
