My kind of paella from Tiny Budget Cooking: Saving Money Never Tasted So Good (page 82) by Limahl Asmall

Where’s the full recipe - why can I only see the ingredients?

Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity.

Can substitute vegetable stock cubes for chicken stock cubes, chorizo for sundried tomatoes, celery for onions, garlic powder for garlic, tomato puree for cherry tomatoes, green beans for peppers, dried thyme for bay leaves, risotto rice for paella rice, and coriander for parsley.

Made without garlic, shallots and celery for onions, tomato puree. M1 commented it tasted sweet from the red and yellow peppers, maybe should have upped the lemon juice but was wary of kids not eating. She didn't like the celery. M2 didn't like the rice but did like the chorizo and prawns. DH and M1 would eat again. Took me about an hour total as I hadn't prepped.
