Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity.

    Was a moist, delicious banana bread and a solid recipe. It’s a bit more tedious than other banana bread recipes but turned out great. We used brown sugar and added chocolate chips.

    I was hopeful that this truly would be the best, but found it to be a tad dry and not tha full of flavor. I’ve had lots of banana bread that’s better.

    This is a good banana bread. I used brown sugar and added walnuts. It's less sweet than other banana breads and wonderful with some salted butter.

    Really good banana bread! I used sour cream and half granulated sugar / half brown sugar and was perfectly sweet and moist. While delicious, it won't be my go to because remembering to take out ingredients to get to room temp and creaming butter is a bit too fussy for quick bread but I will definitely break it out for special occasions.
